Paella, not only being Spain’s most popular and authentic dish, is also the name of the famous Michelin-star chef Alberto Herraiz’s new book. As its name shows it is the paella “bible” with over 100 recipes from all around Spain. Not only does this book gives you recipes but also has many tips and tricks and culinary techniques on how to cook, serve and eat the perfect paella.
The book is a real eye-catcher which mimics the packaging of the traditional paella rice cloth bag. The hardback book has white linen cloth fly-cover with striking real red over-locking stitches around the edges.
“Paella” contains 6 chapters: all about paella, basic recipes, paellas on the stove, on the barbecue, without rice and sweet paellas.
He also has a whole section dedicated to different stocks and oils and even the different pans.
Alberto goes into detail on, not only how to cook each, but the dishes' origins. It includes many pictures which result very eye-catching and a simple presentation of the all the recipes.
All around it is a great book for all Spanish culinary lovers, not only for beginners but for anyone who want to broaden their range or paella ideas.
