Pimientos de Piquillo are some of the most delicious of the red peppers available and are a true taste of Spain. These sliced piquillo peppers are harvested from the same regions of Navarra as the peppers bearing the "Piquillo de Lodosa D.O." symbol. As well using them in a paella, they are ideal in a salad as well as many other dishes. When gently fried with olive oil & garlic they make a superb tapa - just make sure you have lots of bread on hand to mop up the juices !

Our peppers come one of the most well known and respected producers in the area "Conservas Artesanas Rosara". The secret of the success of Rosara products is undoubtedly in the home-made way of doing things like roasting the Piquillo peppers over beech wood and then peeling them by hand without water as that would affect their taste.
