A classic Spanish paella meaning black rice, is a real unique dish. The stock contains squid and vegetables as well as squid ink this therefore turns the rice black as opposed to the usual golden colour. The unusual colours and unique taste make it a great talking point. This dish has no GM products and is Gluten free.
Making the perfect paella couldn’t be easier, all that’s required is you pour the stock mixture into a paella pan ( 30cm - 32cm), bring to the boil, add the rice and simmer for about 15 minutes. You then have a full flavoured body, authentic tasting paella for two. If you want you can add a few pieces extra pieces of seafood as a garnish, but they really are just delicious as they come.
There are a total of 5 varieties for you to try, Paella Valenciana, Paella de Marisco (Seafood Paella), Arroz Negra (Black rice made with squid ink - delicious), Fideu which is a noodle based "paella" found in the region of Gandia, south of Valencia and one of the many "arroces" you find in Spain, in our case Arroz con Zamburinas (rice with scallops).

Shellfish stock 73.1% (water, cockles, onion, lemon, squid ink, salt, leeks, hake, carrot), fried vegetable paste 14.6% (onion, tomato, green pepper, garlic, olive oil), squid pieces 9.8% and peas 2.5%
