We have now introduced our new fideuà version of our ever-popular paella gift set.
Fideuà are short hollow noodles used to make the dish of the same name. Fideuà is essentially a noodle version of a seafood paella (or arroz a banda) in which the rice is replaced by fideuà.
Fideuà is very easy to make, and like paella, very flexible in the ingredients. All you need to do is fry various pieces of fish and seafood in your paella pan, (calamares, prawns, monkfish, mussels etc) add some tomato frito, paprika and saffron along with the seafood stock (home-made if you can). Then add the noodles and cook for 15-20 minutes or so - That's it!
Based around a 38cm paella pan, that will be perfect for 6 to 8 servings, each set consists of the following:
- 38cm Valencian paella pan of your choice
- 2 x 500g of Fideuà noodles
- 2 x 100% natural Carmencita Fideuà Stock Mix
- 41g of Carmencita Chopped Ñoras
- 75g La Lidia sun-dried Sweet paprika - Extra Quality ( D.O Pimentón de Murcia)
The contents are placed on a bed of rafia paper inside the pan, wrapped in cellophane and finished off with a lovely organza ribbon bow (Please note that the ribbon colours will vary - but will always be beautiful) PLEASE NOTE: These gift sets are hand made and each one takes time to produce.
