Normal paella pans traditionally have a slight dip in the middle of the pan. This makes them unsuitable for electric cookers or AGA's where contact with the heating surface is required across the whole base of the paella pan. These pans overcome this issue by being made of a much thicker steel than a normal paella pan along with a thick flat base making them perfect for electric hobs, halogen hobs, induction plates and Aga's. You can, of course, use them on our paella gas burners and on an open fire. These enamel pans can also be used in the oven.
