As traditional paella pans do not have a flat base it means they are not suitable to be used on electric cookers or AGA's where the base of the pan needs to be in total contact with the heating element.

 

This range of pans have been specifically designed to have a flat base in order they the can be used with all cooking surfaces including electric hotplates, Induction & Halogen hobs as well as AGA's. They can also still be used on a normal gas hob or a paella gas burner.

 

These pans are heavy and extremely robust being double the thickness of a standard paella pan. For this size of paella pan we offer the choice from Spain's two leading paella equipment manufacturers: Garcima's "La Ideal" or Vaello "La Valenciana". Each pan is of the same excellent quality and, in this case, only differ by the shape of the handles.
